HOW WILL WE LEARN?
- Faculty members at your school will watch Powerful Teaching, Dr. Pooja Agarwal’s recorded keynote, (think “watch party”), or view it individually before the September 28 virtual event. You name the date and time.
- On September 28, the live Q&A features Dr. Pooja Agarwal on Zoom and includes a richer discussion of Powerful Teaching. Teachers can submit questions in advance and/or during the session.
This two-part event will provide VAIS educators with key takeaways and actionable teaching strategies for Powerful Teaching.

Pooja K. Agarwal, Ph.D. is a cognitive scientist, conducting research on how students learn since 2005.She is the author of Powerful Teaching: Unleash the Science of Learning and an Assistant Professor at the Berklee College of Music. Dr. Agarwal is also the founder of RetrievalPractice.org, a resource for 20,000 teachers around the world. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, Education Week, Scientific American, and NPR. |
